So I was talking to my friend Kelley on the phone the other night and she told me that she was tired and just wanted to take a bubble bath. A bubble bath? What a novel concept. I can't even remember the last time I took a bubble bath but something tells me that it was in High School, which was the last time that I would consider my tub clean enough to rest my bare bum on it. In college, bubble baths are out of the question and up until now, I've always had roommates where I'd feel a little bad hogging the bathroom for that long (I mean when you've gotta pee, you've gotta pee, right?).
I started thinking about what I have in my apartment to create a peaceful scene and I think I did quite well. I used Philosophy's Chocolate Chip Cookies Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath as super luxurious bubble maker that also curbs my cookie cravings. I then lit my Diptyque Roses candle, which is one of my favorite scents, and the combo of chocolate and roses is pretty much nirvana in my book. After relaxing for a bit in the tub, I then put on my comfy Soft Hugwear Spa Wrap so that I could dry off a bit with out putting my clothes back on. Ah, a great day. I think I'll be doing this again soon.
So, um this is awesome. There's something about this Philosophy i love candy corn 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath...I think it reminds me that I'm totally still a kid at heart and what's more exciting for a kid than candy corn and Halloween? Candy corn makes me go back to my elementary school days...how about you guys? This would make a great gift for a Halloween party hostess too!
Cancer remains the number one disease that claims the lives of our children. Each year cancer kills more children under the age of 18 than asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and AIDS combined. From August 15th – October 15th philosophy will be donating 100% of the net proceeds of their oatmeal raisin high foaming shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer -- an organization created to raise awareness of and funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer through the concept of hosting local bake sales.
philosophy will also be hosting two local bake sales of their own at their Arizona store locations, and is asking for YOUR help to do the same for a really great cause.
The Cookies for Kids’ Cancer website makes it easy for anyone that wants to get involved in the fight against pediatric cancer by detailing the 4 easy steps you will need to throw a bake sale of your very own (planning, details, bake, sell!).
Good news for any non-bakers (like myself), you can help as well by purchasing the oatmeal raisin high foaming shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath benefiting Cookies for Kids’ Cancer on www.philosophy.com .
So a teacher I had in high school once told us that in college, Sunday is a day for the figment of your imagination...and even post-college, I'm finding this still to be true. There's nothing like sitting around with your roommates while drinking mimosas (champagne and OJ delivered, naturally) and watching "Hocus Pocus," the quintessential Halloween movie from my childhood. As we sat around, singing "I put a spell on yoooou, and now you're mineeee," I was reminded that Philosophy, one of my favorite brands, has a 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash that actually smells like the delectable drink. Mmmmm, I don't wanna go to work tomorrow.
